For more than three decades I have worked as a therapist, educator, and business owner within the professional beauty industry. Throughout my career, I have treated thousands of skins, trained therapists, and worked extensively with advanced technologies including laser and light-based treatments.

A concerning pattern
Over the years I began noticing a pattern. Ingredient lists were becoming longer. Products were becoming increasingly complicated. Treatments were becoming more aggressive.

Yet, many of the skins I was seeing appeared more reactive, more sensitive, and more compromised than ever before.

As I continued working with advanced technologies, I often questioned what I was observing. Many clients believed their skin was improving, yet I frequently saw signs of barrier impairment, chronic inflammation, and accelerated skin ageing.

The botanical difference
At the same time, I began working more extensively with pure botanical ingredients and simpler formulations.

The difference was impossible to ignore:

• Resilience returned.
• The skin looked healthier and more balanced.

Rather than forcing the skin into a constant state of reaction, these ingredients appeared to support the skin's natural function and repair processes.

That experience became the foundation of OKEONI. Every ingredient is selected with purpose. Not because it is fashionable or trending, but because it contributes to skin health, integrity, and longevity.

OKEONI was created to help therapists simplify skin care, understand their formulations, and confidently explain why they work. This formulary is an extension of that philosophy.
